Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) - - The University of Miami Hurricanes will take on the Nevada Wolf Pack in the 10th annual MPC Computers Bowl Classic in Boise, Idaho on December 31. The game will be played on the blue field of Bronco Stadium at Boise State University and will be televised nationally by ESPN. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

This will mark the ninth consecutive year the Hurricanes will play in a postseason bowl game, and it is their first trip ever to the MPC Computers Bowl. It will also mark the first game ever between the Hurricanes and the Wolf Pack. Nevada is 8-4 and finished in third place in the Western Athletic Conference.

Nothing against the WAC, but if the Canes lose this one then there has to be more wrong with that program than the coach. I still can't believe the Canes will play in some obscure bowl game, on a blue field against a WAC team, its like a bad episdoe of the Twilight Zone.

Man this is priceless if you're a 'Canes hater. With everything that's happened (of course, except for the player that was murdered), Miami's terrible season can be capped off with a loss on the blue field against Nevada.

I agree with you VA, it's sad to see the Canes in a bowl like this, and it will be alot worse if they lose to Nevada.

Well, they shoulda lost. Lucky break on the missed call by the refs on that crazy catch by Pudewell.
