Heat score fewest points in franchise history

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for the Miami Heat...

As the Associated Press is reporting, "In a season of misery, the Miami Heat set a new low... Andrea Bargnani and Anthony Parker each scored 14 points and the Toronto Raptors held Miami to the third-lowest point total in the shot-clock era, beating the Heat 96-54 on Wednesday night... The Heat set franchise lows for points in a game and in a half (26), and shot a franchise-worst 20-for-78 (.256)."

Heat tie third-lowest total in NBA history in 96-54 loss to Raptors - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Even though the heat has the lowest in the franchise, they are going to rebuild by drafting hopefully Micheal Beasly or possibly Derrick Rose. With one of them and Dwayne Wade, Shawn Marion and some moves in the offseason they should be a alright team next year!

Hey, welcome to the forums. I definitely agree with you. Things are bad now, but they'll get better. Getting Marion for Shaq was a good first step.

Beasley would make for a good corner stone...

I saw a stat on ESPN that said something like the Heats have not won on either Wednesday or Thursdays this year...something totally odd like that...that must suck.
