Re: Miami clinches #2 seed They need to worry about beating The Nets in the second round. This two seed is kind of moot because them or the Pistons are going to be significant road blocks en route to the finals.

Re: Miami clinches #2 seed Are the Nets better or worse than last year? WORSE. Are the Heat better or worse than last year? BETTER. Case closed. I hope the Nets lose early I can't stand looking at Bibby's bald head.

Re: Miami clinches #2 seed Each team has a game left tonight, but as it stands, the Nets are 6-4 in April and the Heat are 4-6, so it doesn't appear as though either team has a huge momentum advantage going in, despite all the recent talk about the Heat becoming complacent. Barring upsets, this should be a good series. Anyone know the head-to-head record between these two?

Re: Miami clinches #2 seed I am looking for the Heat to win the whole thing this year. I know a lot of people are talking badly about Shaq, but I think he will lead them to the title... This #2 seed definitely helps.

Re: Miami clinches #2 seed Miami is 1-3 against The Nets this season, this is anything but case closed. Even theuir one win was the fourth game of the season and they one by the underwhelming margin of one point. If anything Miami should be a dog. And Miami is not better than last year, they are immensely worse defensively and without an Eddie Jones type to help contain either Jefferson or Carter, the Nets pose some serious matchup issues for this over-inflated Heat team. You could see Shaq in early foul trouble if those two are able too penetrate the lane as easily as they have been able too in the past. By the way, Pete b, I think you are confusing Jason Kidd for Mike Bibby, both of which are better court generals than The Heat have.
