Six losses in 11 games, two straight defeats at home... something is definitely amiss in Miami. The Heat aren't getting the job done. Granted, they don't have three very important pieces right now - starting point guard Jason Williams, top 3-point shooter James Posey and backup center Alonzo Mourning - but as Pat Riley put it, "Guys weren't ready to play. Coaches weren't ready to coach." So with five games left this season, will Miami be able to start playing like a team that deserves to be the #2 seed in the playoffs?

If they play like this in the playoffs they will lose to The Nets in the second round. The first round is more or less a bye for the top four seeds because at least the bottom three and maybe the five seed (Washington is clinging to a 39-38 record) will all have losing records and in my opinion shouldn't be in the playoffs.
