Miami Heat eliminated

Well, the Miami Heat lost to the Chicago Bulls, 92-79, on Sunday. The loss knocks the defending champs out of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion -- they were swept by Ben Wallace, Ben Gordon and company. According to the AP, "Dwyane Wade scored 24 points for Miami on 8-for-22 shooting, and added 10 assists. Shaquille O'Neal had 16 points, Alonzo Mourning scored 14 and James Posey had 18 rebounds -- a club-playoff-record 17 on the defensive end -- for the Heat." But they still came up short. So what's next for the Miami Heat?

Major renovations are needed. They got by on the excuse that they're veterans and they were going to turn it on when it mattered.

Yeah, right.

All they did was validate all the claims that last year was a fluke.

Hey, we gotta play the Mav's tomorrow... let's go to South Beach and show off our rings!

Hey, the Bucks just kicked our behinds... let's go to South Beach and show off our rings!

Hey, the Bulls just handed us ours in round 1... you see the pattern here?

The parade is over. Rebuild around Wade. NOW.

The sweep also proves this, we are shifting powers in the east and the west.

The Mavs being the best team in the NBA is turning into a joke, There one game away from being ousted in the most embarassing series lost in history. With everyone else doing thier job and most of all, its the fact that nothings ever going to be the same every year, and proves it.

Cool Re: Miami Heat eliminated

I'll say this for Chicago. They really play the game the right way. Pass first and shoot second approach.

Re: Miami Heat eliminated

They've got my respect. Very well-balanced now with Wallace and Luol Deng.

It's gonna be a heck of a series with the Pistons.
