The Miami Herald reported today that a team source indicated Pat Riley will likely resume head coaching the Heat shortly after the All Star break.
Riley announced he was taking an indefinite leave of absence to undergo hip and knee surgery in early January. Many speculated that his timing was noteworthy, because the of the Heat's dismal season thus far.
Riley's return is noteworthy as well, with the Heat winning six of their last seven, and going 12-8 under interim coach Ron Rothstein.
Has Riley's absence actually motivated these guys? Will his return motivate them even more?
