Thumbs up Jason Williams

What do you think of Jason? He has brought alot to this Miami team. He gives Wade more chances to make plays and be a shooting guard more than a point guard. I want to what you guys think.

Re: Jason Williams

First thing when you think about Jason Williams is flashiness. However, there is more to his game. Surprisingly for such a flashy player, he takes care of the ball very well with nearly 3 assist per turnover. He is shooting a career best 37% from the three point line. Also, Hubie Brown, who coached him in Memphis, said he's the fastest player in the nba from top of the key to the other top of the key. The bad side is that he's an average defender at best. A guy like Billups, who has scored 59 points in 2 games against the Heat, isn't a good match-up for him and could very well doom the Heat if they meet in the Playoffs.

All in all, he is an underrated player and has been a good replacment for Damon Jones, who signed with Cleveland. We'll see how he performs in the playoffs when the shots really count.

Cool Re: Jason Williams

Okay, so there is more to his game than flashiness...but lets not get carried away...At best, Jason is an average point guard with above average passing skills, (though players like Hinrich and Ridnour are currently averaging more assists per game)... And while his .370 from behind arc makes him respectable, it doesn't bring him within the top 30 guards in the NBA.

...The man has also had health concerns in the past, and his maturity is arguably questionable...

...Yet, having said all that...he’s plain fun to watch sometimes...

Re: Jason Williams

I think he is a great addition to the Heat. You needed a replacement well I think you got a better team player. He helps out Wade a lot which gets him more offense. Jason was a great addition to this team.
