| Re: Jason Williams First thing when you think about Jason Williams is flashiness. However, there is more to his game. Surprisingly for such a flashy player, he takes care of the ball very well with nearly 3 assist per turnover. He is shooting a career best 37% from the three point line. Also, Hubie Brown, who coached him in Memphis, said he's the fastest player in the nba from top of the key to the other top of the key. The bad side is that he's an average defender at best. A guy like Billups, who has scored 59 points in 2 games against the Heat, isn't a good match-up for him and could very well doom the Heat if they meet in the Playoffs.
All in all, he is an underrated player and has been a good replacment for Damon Jones, who signed with Cleveland. We'll see how he performs in the playoffs when the shots really count. |
