The Miami Heat received their NBA Championship rings and hung their banner tonight before the season opening game with the Chicago Bulls. It really makes it all worth it for the franchise in the end when you're able to put up the banner that will always be symbolized for an amazing season and being the Champions of the sport.

Belated congrats to Wade & co. for a great 2005-06 season.

Yeah, it was a nice ceremony, but it's gotta be hard on those guys to go through a celebration like that, then five minutes later get their game faces on and get down to business. It's like what Wade told the AP earlier today, "I think you should have these kind of ceremonies when you have nothing else to do. But when you've got to get prepared for a game, it kind of takes away from the moment. It'll be great, but right away, we're going to have to snap out of it." What do you guys think?
