| Dolphins release Beck Once thought to be the future quarterback of the Miami Dolphins, John Beck was released on Monday.
He was released just after the Dolphin's pick of Pat White in the '09 draft. White is expected to run the Wildcat offense and also to challenge Chad Henne for the number 2 job.
Beck was a second round pick in '07. He was a former Brigham Young star.
He appeared in five games with four starts as a rookie, completing 60 of 107 passes for 559 yards, with one touchdown pass, three interceptions, and a quarterback rating of 62.0. Beck did not appear in a single game, however, in 2008. |
