Culpepper cleared to play

New Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper has been medically cleared to play and will see action against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday. According to the AP, "Culpepper will be exposed to contact for the first time since a knee injury ended his 2005 season with the Minnesota Vikings last October." How will he hold up? Is Culpepper 100-percent?

I am not buying he is 100%...the conventional thinking says that the knee takes more than a year to recover from...and he tore it in three places...Miami had reservations as well...thus Harrington.

Re: Culpepper cleared to play

Well, Culpepper played in one series tonight, "throwing two passes and directing his new team to a field goal," according to the AP. And Harrington? A TD pass to Randy McMichael and a pair of fumbles. Culpepper was 1-2 for 2 yards, Harrington went 10-for-19 for 99 yards and David Garrard went 6-for-11 for 172 yards and 2 scores.

Re: Culpepper cleared to play

Garrard is actually Jacksonville's 2nd string QB.....IMHO he should be starting over Leftwich....Just check out his numbers last season when Leftwich was out.....
