Ravens @ Dolphins:Playoffs

Ravens and Dolphins are already playing and the score is 3-3 in the 1st quarter. I was surprised not to find a thread on here for this game. I expect the Ravens to win this one because of their brutal defense. Dolphins have been a great story after only winning 1 game last year...Lions fans take heart, you just never know what may happen next year!

Ravens up 20-3 and their defense has really shined today. It was a nice ride for the Dolphins this year, looks like that ride is coming to an end.

Yep, the game wasn't the most exciting of the weekend, but I'm sure the Raven are happy!

Kind of a surprise though that the veteran quarterback was the one to make the rookie mistakes and the rookie qb made the veteran plays

Well, the veteran QB was running for his life nearly every play, and the rookie could have sit back and had milk and cookies while playing, Flacco's protection was that good and Penningtons was that bad. That nasty swarming defense grabed Miami's offense by the short and curlys and never let go the whole game. My Dolphins had a great season, but hats off to the Ravens defense, they handed us our arses yesterday. VOLS RULE!!!!!

I liked the Ravens game plan. They never intended for Flacco to have to make many plays, only not make mistakes. He would drop back and just sit there, and sit there, and had all day to find an open man. Miam's pass rush was horrible. The only time they ever got near Flacco was when they sent everybody, which made for one on one coverage which Flacco took advantage of neary every time. But in reality, their 3rd string QB could have done the job yesterday, they had that good of protection going for their QB. Oh well, theres allways next year.
