Ricky getting high praise

Ricky Williams looked "every bit the best player on the field" during Dolphins Organized Team Activities, according to the Miami Herald.
Ricky reportedly looked quick and ran with authority. CBS' Charley Casserly says "The guy jumped out at you" in the practices he viewed and suggests Williams could have a late-career resurgence ala John Riggins.

Ricky could be best player on Fins' roster - 07/17/2008 - MiamiHerald.com

Re: Ricky getting high praise

I have read nothing but good stuff about this guy so far. His coaches are happy with him and say he is working very hard. Ricky just might be the one to put a bit of a spark in this Miami offense.

Maybe he WILL be the Marcus Allen of the 21st century! Good for Williams. He went from being a joke to now reclaiming a spot as a productive, maybe even special runningback.

Not to play the skeptic, but he's not out of the woods yet. I still want to see him stay clean, healthy and productive for an entire season.

Re: Ricky getting high praise

Alright, check his helmet and cleats for blunts...lol J/K
This is good, as long as he stays clean and he continues to make giant leaps forward like he is. He might be the Marcus Allen of the 21st Century. I think Ricky could have been in the hall of fame when his career was over and done. He was that good! The man was simply amazing with the Saints! Also, his two good years with the Dolphins were nice as well.

Re: Ricky getting high praise

If you left the word "praise" out of this thread's title then it would have been more believable.

no legend, I think for the time being he is headed in the right direction. I think he will stay clean. Healthy is always questionable, he could get a cleat in his side like he did last year, and as long as he is healthy I believe he will stay productive.
