| Taylor may stay with the Dolphins Contrary to previous reports, it would appear that Jason Taylor may be doing his sack dance in Miami after all. Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said his team had pursued a deal, but the Dolphins took Taylor off the trading block. He said they had a price in mind and no one was interested in meeting that price, that they like the guy and were going to keep him. Dolphins may keep Taylor - USATODAY.com Maybe Parcells did want a first round pick and no one would give it for Taylor.

Taylor is worth a 1st round pick...so he is better staying...especially since they did not draft Long or Dorsey. |

| Re: Taylor may stay with the Dolphins So are the Jags and Bucs, the Bucs were close on the draft day, and the Jags were close to working out a deal last week. I think Jacksonville and San Diego would be good fits for him. No disrespect to your Panthers Stoney, but they are from a contender.

| Re: Taylor may stay with the Dolphins Hey everyone....I'm new to this site but I'm a huge Dolfan and Canes fan. Born and raised in Miami and also a Canes Alumnus. I can tell you that ever since the whole Jason Taylor saga began, the Miami Herald has been talking about Jacksonville being interested. Which tells me he won't be going there. LOL

How did they feel about his stint on Dancing with the Stars? The Dolphins were going to dump him first. I still cant figure out why players are expected to have more honor in regard to their contract than the teams do. |

| Re: Taylor may stay with the Dolphins Well, I think most people here are disappointed that he may be leaving. As we were when Zach Thomas bolted town. But at the same time, we understand the situation on both players and that we're in a rebuilding stage. I think most people here believe both Zach and Jason deserve better. Having said that, the Fins tried dealing JT during the draft. That's been confirmed and it's no secret. I just think that Parcells believes he's worth keeping if they can't get what they want for him. And thats where we are now. Parcells shopped him....didn't like the offers and now expects to have a football player and not a dancer. It's that simple. If the right deal came along he would make it. |

Its hard to know what Parcells thinks. It would appear this little thing between him and Taylor has gotten blown way out of proportion. Parcells told Sparano to say that Taylor wouldnt be attending OTAs, minicamp or training camp, even though its usually the player that announces that first. Taylor has not confirmed it. No one is going to give him a first round pick for Taylor. So what does Parcells have in mind then? I dont get it. |
