Dolphins cant find buyer for No. 1 pick

Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga says no team is interested in trading for the Dolphins No. 1 pick.
He also said he has no issue paying a huge signing bonus to the player the Dolphins select, even though the player has never set foot on an NFL field.
He also talked about how it was necessary not to make a mistake on the top 5 picks because it could mess up the entire program.

This year's number one overall pick should receive a contract in the neighborhood of $35 million in guaranteed money.

So guess this means that most teams dont think there is anyone worth the risk of that much money.

Naw, I think it means the asking price may be too high.

I'm not trying to be disagreeable here or anything () but this is what is quoted in the article:

"If you hear Bill Parcells or anyone saying, 'Hey, I'm not going to pay that for that person,' it doesn't mean they don't want to spend the money – it means that person is not worth the risk for five or six years…If you make a mistake this year, it's harder to undo that mistake…Just like it's important to get the right guy, it's just as important not to make a mistake," Huizenga said.

I actually think it's a little bit of both -- there's no player really worth #1 overall money, and therefore no one worth paying an arm and a leg to trade up to get either. This is the first draft I can think of in recent memory that there seem to be no "can't-miss" type guys.
