The Phinsider (an unofficial Miami Dolphins blog) says that it got a few words from a fan of Beck's from BYU.
The fan says that Beck looked in his rookie year in the NFL a lot like he did his first couple of years in school. He says that Beck settled down and became a great player. The fan feels that the same will happen in the NFL and that Beck just needs a little more time. The coaching staff is grooming him and he is working very hard.
The fan compared Beck to Steve Young's first year with the Bucs. The offensive line was bad, and Young got sacked, a lot, and looked like a joke. Steve, he says, has the edge on mobility.

Well, wishful thinking or is there some truth in this?

I agree. Beck could be the future and I would even be satisfied if I were the Dolphins to let him sit but they need a veteran QB now and Trent Green is gone. Surely they can pick someone up?
