Dolphins should find their QB under Parcells

Parcells creates stability at the quarterback position. From Simms with the Giants, Bledsoe with the Pats, and even Testaverde with the Jets, Parcells likes to have one QB as the guy leading the offense into battle. He doesn't bounce between starters the way recent Dolphins regimes have.
For this reason the Dolphins should find their quarterback under Parcells.
At this point, there are no indications who that face will be in Miami. Some believe John Beck can be the steady, Simms-like leader. Others believe Matt Ryan will have the same effect on the franchise as Bledsoe had on the Patriots. Certain people think Parcells may bring in an old castoff like he did with Testaverde and the Jets. Still, it could take years -- and possibly a few misfires -- to find a signal-caller like Romo.
But if Parcells' track record shows anything, it's that he will find the quarterback who can produce on the field and who will be the face of the Dolphins for years to come.

This is what the Dolphins need more than anything: a quarterback who will be their identity.

Re: Dolphins should find their QB under Parcells

love BYU and Beck...but he is not the answer in Miami and he had trouble handling the ball this year...I think Parcells will look elsewhere.

Well, in that case...maybe Tom Brady would jump ship and try a new challenge...it may make Shula and the '72 Dolphins think twice...

Favre would give Bill Parcells heart failure.

Bill wouldnt be around long enough to see it. It takes a certain kind of coach to put up with Brett's shenanigans. Parcells is too old school. Had he hung around a while longer he and Romo would have bumped heads.
