Ricky thinks Dolphins want him to play

The Dolphins havent said much about their plans for Ricky Williams. But Ricky thinks he is going to have a part in the backfield. He says that Bill Parcells told him after the season that he wanted Ricky and believed in him. Besides having the substance abuse issues in his background, Williams is still recovering from a torn pectoral muscle he suffered in November. Ronnie Brown is also recovering from injury, a season ending knee injury in Week 7.
Williams is in good football shape.

What do you think are Ricky's chances of coming back?

To me they should cut their losses with Williams and draft McFadden. Bronw is never going to make ti through a full season. but of course, they also need a quarterback.

I agree with dumping Ricky, but wait until Round 2 for your tailback. It's a deep draft at the position.

I would keep Ricky because who knows if Brown will recover from the knee injury. I would also take McFadden with the first pick unless traded away. It is a deep RB draft, but why not take the best one available.

Why keep Ricky? Between injuries and suspensions he's been nothing but a bust for Miami. Get rid of him now while the gettin's good.

I agree to dump him. What the Dolphins really need is a quarterback and there's a few good ones in the draft so it's just a matter of choosing one.
