| Dolphins sign receiver who had run in with law Dolphins signed free agent receiver David Kircus who played for the Broncos in 2006 but made biggest headlines last spring off-field. He was charged with felony assault for punching a man. He pleaded not guilty in self defense. The case is unresolved. In July 2005 he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.
