Dolphin's Taylor to appear on Dancing with Stars

Jason Taylor isnt the usual stereotype of a football player. He's quiet and easy going off the field and his charity work entitled him to be recognized for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
Now he has a new hobby. He is to appear on Dancing with the Stars.
Think his new boss, Bill Parcells, will be watching?

I can see Taylor doing very well at this. It should be interesting to see.

I have watched a few seasons on and off...I think I am starting to know a few things like what a Jive or a Foxtrot is...or that the Argentinean tango has intricate footwork…etc...

Still, I am not fond of seeing the NFL and NBA stars take a shot at it...I know Emmitt Smith did well, and won...but I thought others were better...Jerry Rice was okay...and Clyde Drexler was totally awful

The only time I have ever watched it is when Emmitt was on. I would watch Taylor too.
I think Emmitt's popularity on the football field had something to do with his winning. He was good, but---
I know I voted like crazy for him.

See, I didn't vote for him...I loved him as a Cowboy and he was light on his feet...but i did not see him as the best one out there.

Hey, Taylor's the first active athlete to do the show, isn't he? Why wouldn't something like this be banned by his NFL contract?

Dang, you have a point there Lefty. He could strain something lifting his partner or trip over his feet or something. This could come under the heading of hazardous activities.

Seriously, though, I wouldnt be surprised if this comes up.

Well, I know a lot of guys aren't allowed to ride motorbikes or play basketball. Pacman Jones wasn't allowed to wrestle. Why's this different?
