would you want that huge ego on your staff ? ...... oh that's right .. you had it .. and with the people he put in place your team has the #1 seed in the NFC

seems at least 10 teams should have been in a bidding war for him to run their show

No...wouldn't want him on my staff...he dissed Emmitt Smith, couldn't even address TO by his name...and kept Drew Bledsoe in there too long...

And it wasn't Bill that made them a winner...it was Jone's money...he threw a ton at the Offensive Line and at TO...

Re: Miami Dolphins Fire Cam Cameron

Parcells gets way too much credit for turning teams around but a lot of free passes for simply walking out when he feels like it. He is one missed "wide right" field goal away from being just another coach that won one Super Bowl. Way overrated in my book, especially when you remember that Belichik was there with him for a long time at some of his stops. A good talent evaluater he is though.

Regardless of what you think of Parcells as a coach, this is a lousy move. Cameron deserved more time to get this turned around. Mark my words, he's not done in the NFL as a head coach. You can't judge a guy after one season with the lousy quality of personnel that he had down there in Miami.

Does all of the blame for the Dolphins being so hapless fall on Saban?

No. Mueller and Cameron made a colossal mistake bringing in Trent Green and drafting Ted Ginn, there's no doubting that.

Is this going to set a precedent now. A coach is expected to win his first year out or he is gone.

Boy, I sure hope not. The quality of football right now's bad enough without regimes even being given a chance.

Re: Miami Dolphins Fire Cam Cameron

Cameron should get another shot somewhere down the line, it's not like he had any real "talent" this year. It would have taken a miracle for the Dolphins to have had a winning record in 2007.

Parcells choosing the new head coach, doesn't that set-up a ton of pressure on the new coach's shoulders?

Re: Miami Dolphins Fire Cam Cameron

Did Cameron have much of an ego?? It didnt seem that way to me.

And simon, what are you talking about ego for? Your team has a big enough one.

Before its all done, Dolphins will be lucky if Bill doesnt fire the fans.

Thank you...always thought Ginn was a dumb pick and Green already was damaged goods...
