Jason Taylor consecutive games played record

Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor broke the Miami Dolphins team record for consecutive games played yesterday. Sunday's loss to New England was his 129th straight game, one better than the previous mark set by Hall of Fame center Jim Langer. So is Taylor himself bound for the Hall of Fame?

129 games is remarkable for a lineman with all the banging they do down there....a great accomplishment.

As for the HOF, I don't know. Linemen are tricky. There are not really any stats that you can point to and say they were the best. They have sacks and tackles, but those aren't very accurate. Are they able to get tackles and sacks because they are not being double teamed?? I will leave that question to people that are paid to do it, but I would not have any objection if he were put in.
