Miami has named BYU rookie John Beck as their new starting quarterback.

According to the Associated Press, "Beck will make his NFL debut when he starts Sunday at Philadelphia, replacing Cleo Lemon with the first team. Coach Cam Cameron told the quarterbacks of the change Wednesday, a person familiar with the conversation told The Associated Press... Beck, a second-round draft pick from BYU, will become the 12th quarterback to start for the Dolphins since Dan Marino retired following the 1999 season. He'll be the third starter at QB this season for winless Miami, following Trent Green and Lemon." Good move?

Its ok only if they find a way to protect him. Then again, maybe he will learn to get out of the way faster.

Nothing to lose really but this team needs a total overhaul in good young players. Maybe even trade the 1st pick for multiple picks unless they're sold on a particular player like Brohm or something.
