| Dolphins sign HOF offspring The Miami Dolphins yesterday signed two players who are the sons of Hall of Fame athletes -- safety David Lofton (son of former NFL wide receiver James Lofton) and receiver Michael Malone (who's dad is NBA Hall of Famer Moses Malone). According to the Associated Press, "Lofton played four years at Stanford, where he had 82 tackles and a sack. The 6-foot-3 Malone played two seasons at Sam Houston State, and as a senior he had 23 catches for 250 yards and four scores." Think these kids will work out OK for Miami?

| Re: Dolphins sign HOF offspring Lofton was a heck of an all around athlete, he could long jump 27' feet in college and I saw him run the 880 under 1.55 in the Superstars competition...I am sure his kid got some of that genetic make up...I rather chance it on a kid like that, then a total unknown. |
