I thought Beck might have been a reach at #40...but I am a big BYU fan...soooo...yeah, got to like it...but still Ginn at #8 and Beck at #40...man, they better hope it doesn't all blow up on them...

Re: Miami Dolphins Draft Picks

In a word? Awful. Just a terrible draft. Ginn will return kicks but is probably a #3 wideout at best. Beck is a project at QB, and Booker will probably see limited action in the backfield. But the Fins come away with zero big-time impact players. No offensive or defensive starters, not immediately at least. Hope Cam Cameron's planning on being in Miami for a while because all the guys he took will take 2-3 years at least to bloom.

Yeah awful...but I am a BYU fan...so its nice to see Beck go that high...heck I took him late in the second round of the GTG Mock draft and I thought it was a reach on my part...no way the kid is a #40...

and Ginn as a reach...well that is all over the media...you and I could have done better in the Miami war room.

Re: Miami Dolphins Draft Picks

Beck's better than this makes it sound. He was a top five QB. That's about the only nice thing that can be said about this draft, though.

Re: Miami Dolphins Draft Picks

I still think they should've grabbed Zabransky.

BTW, Satele is a monster on the OL. I covered him through his first 3 years at U of Hawaii, and he is easily one of the most dominant packaderms in the draft.

Plus, Reagan Mauia is a freight train. He would light up linebackers all day long, and would have been much higher rated if he played on a team with an actual running game.

Don't know anything about Soliai out of Utah... anyone know anything about him?

Ginn.... meh... but at least they got a bunch of Polynesians.
