Dolphins Draft WR Ted Ginn

In a move similar to Matt Leinart last year, Brady Quinn of Notre Dame (a top 3 projected pick) fell to the Miami Dolphins at nine overall and they shocked the world and selected receiver Ted Ginn out of Ohio State.

Talk about a shock. Wow...what in the world were they thinking?

Re: Dolphins Draft WR Ted Ginn

Well, in their defense, they needed a wideout. But, wow... they wanted Quinn, Quinn was there, and they didn't take him. Unreal.

Re: Dolphins Draft WR Ted Ginn

i could see the Dolphins taking Troy Smith now to compliment Ginn ..... they would obviously fit well together and i think Smith is an upgrade on all they have now

Troy Smith will be a 5th, 6th, 7th round pick at best, if he's even drafted. Most, if not all, don't believe he'll ever be a starter in the pro's.

Re: Dolphins Draft WR Ted Ginn

And here I was, thinking they would take a linebacker.

The saga continues....

Re: Dolphins Draft WR Ted Ginn

Ted Ginn is Devin Hester in disguise. He will bring great hope to Miami watch what I say.

Cool Re: Dolphins Draft WR Ted Ginn

Boy was that a horrible pick. Even if they get Trent Green, the guy is 37 years old. Wideouts are a dime a dozen. As a Jets fan, I'm happy.

Chiefs wanted a 4th for Green, and Miami already spent their 4th. They're not getting Trent Green.

I saw Keyshawn Johnson say this was the only team that did not do well in the 1st round...He believes Ginn is not strong enough to push pass a DB that is jamming him.

Miami on the other hand has wanted him since last year...
