Apparently the injured knee of Daunte Culpepper is not progressing, and his future in Miami may be coming to an end. The Palm Beach Post is reporting that Culpepper, who is still not 100 percent, is on shaky ground with the organization. The paper also states that some inside the Dolphins front office still have questions about Culpepper's decision-making behind center. These concerns about his demeanor stem from last October's practice-field shouting match with former coach Nick Saban. Culpepper is still due $51.5 million in base salary over the next seven years.

The Dolphins want to get a handle on their quarterback position as soon as possible because they feel that the rest of the team is ready to compete. Daunte's knee problem seems like just the tip of the iceberg, and it is a possibility that the team will opt to go in another direction rather than pay his lofty salary.
It looks like they are done. I heard on Mike and Mike this morning they are in contract negotiations with Trent Green. If they can come to a deal a trade will be made.
