Re: Culpepper traded to the Dolphins So I guess those contract talks with Brees went pretty poorly, then, eh? Well, Culpepper's not the greatest pick-up in the world, but for a 2nd round pick next year? The guy IS a former Pro Bowler. Definitely worth the gamble considering they gave up peanuts for him.

Re: Culpepper traded to the Dolphins Hey, the guy had one season without Randy Moss and he started it off poorly before finding his stride. Then, he got injured. I still think that Culpepper is a good QB whether he has Randy Moss or not. He knows how to throw a ball and I wish him the best in Miami. I really hope he can prove a lot of people wrong.

Re: Culpepper traded to the Dolphins it is true that us dolphin fans have not had good luck with aquisitions(David Boston anyone) but Daunte Culpepper will turn the miami dolphins into a playoff team next year and a potential super bowl hopeful. daunte will be ready and with chris chambers and marty booker and with ronnie brown running the ball they could potentially run away with the division from the beaten down patriots

Re: Culpepper traded to the Dolphins Thanks for joining us here at GoTeamsGo, dolphins1! I agree that Miami is looks awful good offensively, but are you concerned at all about the other side of the ball? They've lost some guys and they're getting up there is terms of age. Think they go D in the draft?

Also, only giving up a second round pick, restructing Culpepper's contract and ridding their cap of 4.5 mil by cutting Frerotte seems like a win-win. |
