Jason Taylor retire

Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor told reporters yesterday that he will consider retiring at the end of the season. Taylor is 32, and this season is widely considered to be one of the top candidates for Defensive Player of the Year honors. Does this retirement talk surprise anyone else?

Re: Jason Taylor retire

As much as I want him back for another year, I don't know how much more he could take (at least, in Miami).

This season took a toll of three seasons on all these veterans both physically and emotionally, I believe.

Cool Re: Jason Taylor retire

Maybe it's just a ploy to get more money from the Dolphins.

Re: Jason Taylor retire

How is his health? Has he been often injured lately?
