Williams Violates Drug Policy Again

It hasn't been confirmed, but multiple sources are reporting that Ricky Williams has once again violated the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Miami Herald: "Dolphins running back Ricky Williams faces at least a one-year suspension from the NFL after a fourth violation of the league's substance abuse policy."

South Florida Sun-Sentinel: "Miami Dolphins tailback Ricky Williams is facing a yearlong suspension from the NFL under the league's substance-abuse policy, a Denver television station reported Sunday."

Palm Beach Post: "Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams has violated the NFL's substance-abuse policy for the fourth time in his career, a source said Sunday. The latest violation likely means Williams faces at least a one-year suspension."

Dolphins should cut their losses with this joker. Just when you think he's got it turned around, he pulls a stunt like this. They've got Ronnie Brown; they don't need to put up with this garbage anymore.

Hmm... interesting twist to a story in the Palm Beach Post.

"Although Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams has failed another drug test -- his fourth violation of the NFL's anti-drug policy -- the substance involved was not marijuana, sources said Monday."

Not pot? But then... what? Steroids maybe? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Good thing I traded him out of my fantasy league...but then I am holding all those football cards...so I am torn on the issue.

Re: Williams Violates Drug Policy Again

Everything I am hearing says an herbal substance that can show up in a drug test.

Let's hope so.
