Re: Dante's Inferno

I'm hoping that he doesn't happen to put it all together this week for the Titans.

My gut tells me that he'll have another few games where things just dont click & that they'll be in decent shape as a team midway thru the season.

Re: Dante's Inferno

Welcome to the GoTeamsGo Fan Forum, JKHoss.

I am suffering from Culpepper-idis in my fantasy football league, and I have already considered starting Rex Grossman over Daunte. He was suppose to be one of the top quarterbacks but just looks miserable out there.

I'm looking to get rid of him and the only offer I have gotten so far has been a ham sandwich in a plastic bag!

Re: Dante's Inferno

I still can't fathom Nick Saban thinking..."Hey, let me bench Daunte Culpepper and play Joey Harrington."

All that's right in the game of football should prohibit that statement from being said.

Re: Dante's Inferno

Don't get me wrong, I was excited as anyone else when Miami picked him up but he has looked worst than Brunell in Washington, seriously, he has. It's sad to think of the potential most Dolphin fans thought this guy was bringing to the team. EXAMPLE- I just got done dominating one of my inferior buddies at a game of Madden(no comments please, yes I am a dork) and on the game, Culpepper is Quick, has a great arm, and can throw with accuracy on the run. I think this is what Dolphin fans thought they might be gettting. too bad Saban doesn't have an xbox controller so he could take over right before Dante does something really stupid, again. I havent even totally given up on him and if he does turn it around, that's great. I just think that at this level if you cant perform NOW and there is a young guy on the bench, drafted top 5(not that long ago) who performed great in college and was known for making the "smart" play, and who only got a chance to prove himself on the Lions, he should get a shot. When WAS the last time a qb looked good in Detroit? Of course I know Saban and the staff see him everyday, and I sound like a wanna be coach but from a fans perspective it DOES SEEM LIKE AN OBVIOUS CHOICE.

where is Jay Fiedler when you need him? Maybe we could pull Dan away from his Nutrsystem and Isotoners?

you should take the trade, a ham sandwich is a good deal for him

i think Daunte will be yanked if he loses either of the next 2 games

the Titans and the Texans

he better win both of those or they will be in trouble

they still have alot of tough games

2 against the Pats

1 each against Chicago, Jacksonville, KC, Minn., and Indy

that could make 9 loses....they wont even make the playoffs at this rate let alone win the division

i agree with you totally there

he spent so much time on his back in Detroit he never really had a chance

and at this point i dont think he can really do much worse then Daunte

heck the worst he can do is lose, which they are already doing

Welcome Hoss...and hey shame about Harrington...never thought he got a fair shake at Detriot....I think I am the lone person defending Daunte here (UCF graduate that I am)...the guy is bouncing back from a major injury and on a new team...he is hesitating right now and not playing smart...but its way early...I mean Big Ben embarassed himself on Monday night and all I hear is "poor ben is gonig through a tough time."....Brooks is horrible in Oakland (I rather have Daunte)...the Titans are a mess at QB..so in relations to the league, there are worse out there...give the guy a break...

But then agian, I have a ton of Joey Harrigton rookie football cards depreciating as we speak...sooo..,its a toss up.

Re: Dante's Inferno

I really hope your right. I think people would be easier on qb's like culpepper and Big Ben if they weren't on teams that have high expectations. In the long run atleast from a physical standpoint cullpepper is without a doubt the best option, but last game he looked like a scared rookie(and worst he played like it) the pass towads the pile on (how do you spell pille on?) in the corner of the endzone that had 2 defenders between him and the reciever I THINK WAS A BAD DECISION. GO PHINS

You know as much as I like my boy Daunte...I keep thinking there is more to Joey... Iwas hoping Dallas had made a play for him....I rather have him than Tony Romo as the future QB.

Jay Fiedler is sitting on his couch a few blocks away from me.

He was cut by the Buccaneers and is looking for a job.

I'll mention playing in Miami when he comes by.

Re: Dante's Inferno

Joey Harrington has the potential of being a Pro-Bowler.

He just needs to play his best out there and have luck on his side.

Re: Dante's Inferno

It could happen.

Don't be surprised in Bledsoe ends up on Miami by the end of the season.

I can see it now...

Harrington to Terrell Owens (when he returns, of course).

Much better than...

Harrington to Chris Chambers (Who?)
