Cool Dolphins=Disaster

Boy do the Dolphins look terrible. I've got to give the Bills credit but still...In my 18 team league, it's just painful for me to see Culpepper's 8 points compared to Rex Grossman's 43 points that are on my bench!

But does the second coming of Vince Lombardi, Nick Saban take any of the hit for this putrid start?

He's gotta...not to totally defend my boy Daunte (well, maybe to defend him)...but Saban has one bland offense of play book.

i would say he takes huge blame

not to defend Culpepper, cause Lord knows i wouldnt do that , but id say the Dolphins are now officially Sabans

he wanted Daunte, and he got him, so no matter how much he sucks its Sabans problem for bringing him in

also, he doesnt have Ricky Williams around to blame anymore for distractions and what-not

Re: Dolphins=Disaster

If the Dolphins lose today to the Titans, they may be one terrible team. What was everyone (myself included) thinking when we picked them to contend for the playoffs?

Granted this is just week 3, but still.

well, they won, barely

but they still arent going to make the play-offs

New England
Jacksonville
Denver
San Diego
Cincy
Pittsburgh
Kansas City
Indy
Baltimore

after these three games, can anyone honestly say they think Miami is better then any of the above teams ?

Re: Dolphins=Disaster

A squeeze victory, 13-10 for the Dolphins over Tennessee. One of the 0-2 teams had to win it and the Dolphins took advantage of the opportunity.

I don't see a bright future for Miami this season. It is week three but they look weak.

Can't argue with that - the Patriots are beating Cincy right now, Buffalo beat Minnesota today and even though the Jets lost, they're definitely playing at a higher level than Miami right now. 4-12 wouldn't surprise me at this rate.

Re: Thoughts on Dolphins' 17-15 loss to the Texans. Yes, the Texans

The above article seems fitting to throw into this discussion. Look especially at what Jason Taylor has to say: "I'm going to tell you like this. Some people might not believe what I'm about to say. Some might not agree, some might agree. And quite frankly, I really don't care what they think... We are not a very good football team. You could take that, print it. Bold print. We're not a very good football team... Whatever people want to say is the worst team in the league, that's us. That's how we're playing."
