| Maurice Holloway Signs With Tiger Football MEMPHIS, TENN. - University of Memphis head coach Tommy West announced today the signing of defensive lineman Maurice Holloway to a National Letter of Intent for the 2008 season. Holloway (6-7, 300), who played for former Memphis letterman Tim Borcky at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, Fla., was a three-star prospect according to Rivals.com. He lettered in 2006 as a senior at Lake Highland after transferring from Seminole High. He helped his squad to a playoff berth in 2006 and finished the year with 39 tackles, 23 of which were for lost yardage. Holloway also tallied three sacks and three fumble recoveries and was named first-team All-District that season. In addition, he was selected as the team's Best Defensive Lineman and was invited to participate in the Central Florida All-Star Game.
