Memphis wins 2K Sports College Hoops Classic

The Memphis Tigers won the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic yesterday, beating UConn 81-70 in the title game. Chris Douglas-Roberts had 33 points to lead John Calipari's team, and freshman Derrick Rose added 24. Douglas-Roberts was named the tournament MVP. Could this be a sign of things to come for the Memphis club? Could they be en route to winning another, bigger tournament next March?
