Grizzlies’ Forward Pau Gasol, became the Ambassador for Spain’s UNICEF Committee in 2003. In his role as Ambassador, Pau Gasol actively works in favor of the promotion and defense of the rights of the world’s children and the fight against HIV/AIDS, as well as in the promotion of the mission of UNICEF.
Gasol collaborates with UNICEF in all of its activities relating to education in values through sports, and he will relate to the public the work that UNICEF carries out in developing countries, where sports are a fundamental tool for the psycho-social rehabilitation of young boys, young girls, and teens.
