| Memphis' Rudy Gay
Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzlies is off to a fantastic start, and in fact was named as one of the NBA Rookies of the Month for November. Accordng to the Associated Press, "Gay, the eighth pick in the draft, earned Western Conference honors after averaging 8.7 points and 24.9 minutes. He has seven double-digit scoring performances, including a 23-point effort in a loss to Dallas on November 18, for the Grizzlies, who also are 4-11."
