| Terrapins topple eighth-ranked BC College Park, MD (Sports Network) - Chris Turner completed 21-of-27 passes for 337 yards and three touchdowns, as the Maryland Terrapins stunned the eighth-ranked Boston College Eagles, 42-35. The loss was the second straight for Boston College (8-2, 4-2 ACC), which in two short weeks has fallen from a school contending for the national championship to one struggling to stay in the race in the ACC. The Eagles now find themselves tied with Clemson atop the Atlantic Division, with a showdown in Death Valley looming next Saturday for a berth in the ACC championship game. Lance Ball gained 109 yards on 32 carries with a touchdown, and Darrius Heyward-Bey gained 75 yards on five catches, and 37 yards on one carry, a touchdown run on a reverse for Maryland (5-5, 2-4), which stopped a three- game skid. Jason Goode had six catches for 56 yards and two scores for Maryland, and Emani Lee-Odai gained 78 yards on three grabs for the Terrapins, who played without leading rusher Keon Lattimore and receiver Danny Oquendo, but did not see the effects in their offense. Matt Ryan completed 33-of-56 passes for 421 yards, three scores, and two interceptions timesunion.com
