When the
Boston College defense lines up against the Maryland offense tomorrow night at Byrd Stadium, the Eagles should recognize what they see. In some respects, the Terrapins are what the BC offense used to be.
“It’s like the Tom O’Brien-style offense,” defensive end Nick Larkin said, referring to the scheme of BC’s former coach. “Pound it in there.”
That’s what the Terrapins want to do. Whether they can is another matter.
Not only are they going up against the nation’s leading run-stopping defense, but their own ability to run the ball has diminished due to injuries.
Terps hope to keep BC ‘D’ on the run
