| Maryland vs. WVU Mountaineers Maryland improved to 2-0 on Saturday with a win over Florida International. This Thursday, though, they face some stiff competition in the West Virginia Mountaineers. Leading the way for the Terps will be running back Keon Lattimore, who is averaging over 108 yards per game so far this season and leads the team with five touchdowns. Will Lattimore be enough to lead Maryland over Steve Slaton, Pat White and the rest of the Mountaineers?

| Re: Maryland vs. WVU Mountaineers Deja vu all over again for the Terps in a 31-14 loss to WVU. According to the Associated Press, "A year ago, Maryland fell behind West Virginia 28-0 in the first quarter en route to a 45-27 loss. The Terrapins were determined to get off to a better start this time, but instead were thrust into an immediate flashback of last season's disaster." They fell behind 7-0 early and trailed 28-7 after three quarters. NCAA Football - West Virginia Mountaineers/Maryland Terrapins Recap Thursday September 13, 2007 - Yahoo! Sports |
