Checking them out
There is little that jumps out about East Carolina in 2008 and says this is a powerhouse football team, but there are also no glaring weaknesses.
The bottom line is that the Pirates are going to be pretty good because Holtz has recruited well and gotten a ton of players some valuable experience in his first three years on the job, the last two of which ended in bowl games.
