Marshall is coming off of 2 losses and a valiant effort against #3 wvu, to face New Hampshire at home. Im gonna say Marshall will get their first win of the season against the wildcats.

Marshall's defense showed me a lot in that first half against WVU, holding the Mountaineers to three first downs and 118 total yards. Sure, White, Slaton and the rest of the superior athletes pulled away at the end, but the Herd did a good job against them early on. I think they may be one of the better defenses in C-USA, and I agree with you that they earn win #1 of 2007 this weekend.

Wow, tough loss for the Thundering Herd. According to the Associated Press, "Ricky Santos threw three touchdowns passes and ran for a fourth score, leading New Hampshire to a 48-35 win over Marshall on Saturday... The Thundering Herd (0-3) lost to a Championship Subdivision team for the first time since rejoining the former Division I-A in 1997." As good as this team looked against WVU, I can't believe they lost this one.
