| Re: Tigers track stars on All-Academic team "Seven members of the LSU track and field team were named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team as was announced by the organization," reports this article. Those seven are sophomores Ryan Fontenot and Rabun Fox and juniors Isa Phillips and Austin Benton on the men's team, and senior Megan Akre, sophomore Angel Boyd and freshman Anna Lyons on the lady's squad.
