LSU shut out...

Nick Saban kept LSU out of the state of Alabama while he raided the Cajun State for several good players. Is this a sign of a shift in the power structure in the SEC West? Is LSU on a serious decline? How will Les Miles handle losing so many players? Can he recruit decent players? Of course many fans say the five star rating system is blowing things out of proportion. But is it? Schools that recruit well win more often. Now LSU will join Auburn and Tennesee in the neer do well category while Alabama rakes in 19 four star players from across the Southeast. For those keeping count that is more four star players than the last five years of recruiting combined. So look out Alabama is back...

Re: LSU shut out...

The proof is in the pudding. LSU is still the defending champs. Bama wants to be top dog, they're gonna have to knock them off on the field.

Nota chance, Nick Saban is over rated & so is BAMA. Im sure they will have a good team & it will be a good game but I cant belive they will run LSU over. Of course the five star rating system is blowing things out of proportion. They allways do.

May I remind you LSU lost 17 starters... that is tough regardless of the incoming talent and coaching staff to get the new guys up to task.

I think LSU will win the SEC West, they're very similar to last year's Florida team with a lot less competition. Bama will be good but not win the Division. It'll be something like LSU 9-3, Bama 8-4, Arkansas and Auburn 7-5

Honestly depending on injuries LSU may be lucky to go 7-5 but will more likely finish 4-8 they have lost too many horses and the coach isn't who you think he is. For example remember Galen Hall coach of the year 1984? He won with Charlie Pell's players I think you have a similar situation here. Les Miles should have gone to Michigan. But hey that's why they play the games.

LSU is the defending Champs they won't fall to 4-8, Perrilloux and some solid receivers will be back, they should be fine and win the West.

Have you looked at our schedule? We only play 4 games away & the rest at home.Have you ever been to Tiger stadium, its hard for any team to win there. I admit we lost alot of players but we still got quaility players to fill in. I also agree that Les has to prove himself again this year but I belive he can. The SEC is allways tough & any team can win, thats what make it so great.

4-8 Stoney? Uh-oh, someone's dipping in the Crimson Kool Aid again. They may have lost a lot of talent, but they've still got more than Bama.
