| LSU draws 25,000 for title celebration BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- About 25,000 fans turned out in chilly conditions Saturday to celebrate LSU's national football championship. "I got chills when I was carrying that flag," star defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey said after the 75-minute event Saturday afternoon in Tiger Stadium. "Today was a day of closure for my four years at LSU. It has been unbelievable." Dorsey won the Outland Trophy (interior lineman), the Lombardi Award (outstanding lineman), the Bronko Nagurski Trophy (defensive player), and the Lott Trophy (on-field performance and personal character). Better known as "Death Valley" , Tiger Stadium is known as the most dreaded road playing sites in America. The Tigers have drawn more than 15 million fans since 1957. The East stadium was built in 1926, west in 1932, north in 1937, south in 1957, and addition was completed in 1978. The original seating capacity was 12,000 in 1926 and the total capacity now is 92,400. & full every game, No were not ashamed.
