Is your chest pounding watching LSU football games lately? Mouth dry? Hands clammy?
Following the Tigers in recent weeks has evolved from an enjoyable Saturday afternoon of tailgating and yelling “Tiger bait!” into a heart-challenging thrill ride.
LSU (8-1, 5-1 Southeastern Conference) started the season ranked No. 2 and played the part with a string of impressive blowouts over Mississippi State (45-0), then No. 9 Virginia Tech (48-7) and Middle Tennessee State (44-0). But a sputtering 34-9 win over Tulane transitioned into a white-knuckled four-game stretch.
