Miles says Perrilloux, Odom will not practice with team Monday

LSU coach Les Miles commented today on the status of two players reported to have been in a fight at the Varsity early Friday.
"I want to make a brief statement about an incident that was reported to me about several of our players on a Thursday night. I don't know the specifics. All I know is that both players that have been named will not practice today, Ryan Perrilloux and Derrick Odom, and we will prepare to play without these guys, but I want to get all the information before I do anything further," Miles said at his weekly press conference.
"If there's anything forthcoming, any information, I will make it available immediately, but from this point forward if you don't mind, I'd like to talk about Alabama."

Re: Miles says Perrilloux, Odom will not practice with team Monday

Hasn't Odom been in trouble a number of times this year? Why is it that some coaches are willing to sacrifice the reputation of their program in order to keep a good player? Is it really worth the effort. I like what JoPa sad in an interview on Saturday on College gameday. He said he uses the old saying "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." How many times does a coach have to bail a player out of trouble for him to realize that it's not worth it.
