With all the talk about the LSU men’s basketball team playing a faster tempo and moving away from pounding the ball inside, it might make sense that junior college transfer Quintin Thornton might feel a little snubbed.
After all, Thornton is the closest thing the Tigers have to a power forward/center at 6-foot-8 and 230 pounds.
But Thornton’s feelings aren’t hurt by the notion that LSU will have to survive without a dominant inside presence.
