| LSUTiger QB Controversy Apparently, the LSU Tigers aren't just going to hand their starting QB job to junior JaMarcus Russell, who missed all of the spring practice sessions with a shoulder injury. Reshirt freshman Ryan Perrilloux and junior Matt Flynn will each be given a chance to compete, said team coach Les Miles.
"We're going to play the best guy certainly, and JaMarcus, if he returns healthy, may very well be that guy," Miles told Kyle Whitfield of The Daily Reveille on April 26. "If in fact JaMarcus Russell is our best quarterback, and he comes back healthy and ready to go, then we'll get the best play from our quarterback... I'll be the first one to tell you that we have to look at the guy that won 10 games the year ago first."
