Refuse to lose

Les Miles burst into song as he trotted off and waved to the overflowing LSU student section that remained in full force for several minutes after their No. 1-ranked Tigers rallied to knock off Florida 28-24 on Saturday.
Defensive coordinator Bo Pellini — normally so serious — pumped a first and waved at those same students.
Quarterback Matt Flynn and Glenn Dorsey walked off together, LSU’s two most visible senior leaders basking in the glow of the program’s biggest victory since the Tigers beat Oklahoma 21-14 to snatch the 2003 BCS Championship.
Flynn stabbed his right index finger into the saturated night, nodded confidently and blurted out what was so obvious: “We’re No. 1.”
