| Opponent angle: Blue Raiders understand this tall task After a dominating performance against a top-10 opponent, can anyone doubt the Tigers' place as one of the top teams in college football? It's that type of hyperbole LSU will have to beware of this week. It would be easy to read their own press clippings about how great they are and then forget to show up against a MTSU team that scored 42 against Louisville last week. Of course it would take a terrible lack of focus on LSU's part to make this a game to begin with, which is kind of the point. MTSU is somewhat dangerous offensively and should provide a great test for what may be the nation's best defense. More of a test, at least, than LSU's first two opponents, the offensively-challenged Bulldogs of Mississippi State and the running-in-place Virginia Tech Hokies. MTSU can move the ball, and that is a given. Opponent angle: Blue Raiders understand this tall task
