| Opponent angle: Hokies bring their own 'D' LSU displayed a fast, aggressive and hard-hitting defense that absolutely demoralized its opponent in Week 1. The offense, on the other hand, resembled John Candy flailing about in his mud pit in Stripes: Slow, sloppy and inept. Now, the Tigers get to look in the mirror as they take on their clones in the Hokies of Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech enters the game after having won a mistake-filled affair in its opener against East Carolina, 17-7. The Hokies will be forgiven if their heads weren't entirely in the game, given this was the team's first game action since the campus shootings this past Spring. Still, a similar effort this week will get them beat. "We just couldn't get into a rhythm," said quarterback Sean Glennon. "That's something that we're going to have to correct because next week, they're not going to let us get into a rhythm too much, so we have to put it upon ourselves."
